- Snap-in, rubber valve. Tubeless. With plastic cap. 11,3mm rim hole.
TR-414 TÜV Rubber Tubeless Valve 49 mm
Snap-in valve with TÜV certification | Max. pressure 4.5 bar | Pack of 100
The TR-414 TÜV is the longest of the standard snap-in valve series, used on tubeless car and van wheels where more reach is needed than the shorter TR-412 or TR-413 provide — with the added backing of German TÜV certification. The body is coated in high-quality black rubber, and the valve core is made of brass. The set includes a 17-490C valve core and a plastic cap. Its profile is shaped for an easier pull through the rim hole, ideally with a valve puller such as the 17-606, 17-606P, or 17-606PR.
What it's used for
The TR-414 TÜV is best suited to wheels with a deeper rim, where the shorter variants (TR-412 at 33 mm, TR-413 at 43 mm) wouldn't clear the rim by enough. Once mounted, it holds pressure up to 4.5 bar. For extra sealing at the point where the valve meets the rim, Bead Sealer can be applied after mounting.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the standard 6-17-414?
This model additionally carries German TÜV certification, confirming compliance with a defined quality standard. Technical specs, dimensions, and mounting method are identical between the two versions.
What's the difference between the TR-414, TR-413, and TR-412?
The TR-414 is the longest in the series at 49 mm overall height, versus 43 mm for the TR-413 and 33 mm for the TR-412. Which one to pick depends on rim depth: the deeper the rim, the longer the valve needed for proper mounting.
What's the best tool for mounting this valve?
A valve puller — the TR-414 TÜV works with the 17-606 (metal), 17-606P (plastic), or 17-606PR (rubber-guarded) model, depending on the rim type and the fitter's preference.
What pressure can this valve handle?
Up to 4.5 bar — a typical rating for rubber valves used on car and van wheels.
