The V3-02-08 valve body (the GW90x90 designation refers to a 90° bend angle and a 90 mm length) is a metal, screw-on valve used on truck and farm machinery inner tubes. Like the V3-02-07, it screws onto a separate connector that's bonded to the tube rubber, so a full installation also needs a connector and a sealing washer.
What this valve body is for
The system is made up of three parts: a connector bonded to the tube (using either the cold or hot method), a sealing washer, and the valve body itself, which screws onto the connector once it's fitted. Splitting the valve into separate parts makes servicing easier — if the valve body itself gets damaged, it can simply be replaced with a new one, without having to remove and re-bond the connector in the tube. The 17-490C spring-loaded core holds the pressure, and the included cap protects it from dirt.
