Valve Connector 80mm Hot-Bonded (V3-08-3)
Hot-bonded connector for inner tubes | Thread fused with the rubber | Used with valve bodies from the V3-02 family | Sold per piece
The V3-08-3 valve connector sits between the inner tube and the valve body — it's bonded to the tube rubber using the hot method, and a matching valve body, such as one from the V3-02 family, is then screwed onto it. It measures 80 mm and works equally well on truck inner tubes and farm machinery tubes.
What this connector is for
The valve system on an inner tube is built from three parts: a connector bonded to the rubber, a sealing washer, and the valve body, which screws onto the connector once it's fitted. Splitting the valve this way makes servicing easier — if the body itself gets damaged, it can simply be replaced without touching the connector. The connector, once heat-bonded into the tube, forms a durable bond with the rubber, and its thread allows the valve body to be screwed and unscrewed repeatedly without losing its seal.
Design and construction
Forms a durable bond with the tube rubber.
Keeps the metal thread seated tightly.
Matches the curve of the tube.
Helps it bond tightly to the tube.

Frequently asked questions
How does this connector differ from the cold-bonded version (V3-08-3NZ)?
The difference is in how it bonds to the tube. The V3-08-3 is heat-bonded using vulcanizing equipment, which takes more time and the right gear but produces a very durable bond. The V3-08-3NZ bonds cold, without heating, which is faster, though the durability of the bond then depends mainly on the quality of the adhesive used.
Which valve bodies work with this connector?
Any valve body from the V3-02 family — regardless of a given model's length, height, or bend angle, they all screw onto the same V3-08-3 connector or its cold-bonded version, the V3-08-3NZ.
Are any extra parts needed to install the connector?
Yes — once the connector is bonded into the tube, a V9-05-1 sealing washer needs to be fitted before the valve body is screwed on. Without it, the connection between the connector and the valve body may not be airtight, even if the connector itself was bonded correctly.
Is this connector suitable for farm machinery?
Yes, the same connector is used on both truck inner tubes and farm machinery tubes — the construction and installation method are identical in both cases.
