Flexible Valve Extension 180mm

Black rubber, flexible | Cap included | For cars, vans, buses, and motorcycles | Sold per piece

The 180mm valve extension is a flexible black rubber piece that lengthens the valve and makes inflating easier when access to it is limited — on deeper-set rims or tighter wheel setups, for example. It's 20 mm longer than the EXT160R, putting it in the upper half of our range, which runs up to 270 mm overall.

What this extension is for

The extension fits over the valve and routes the inflation tip somewhere easier to reach, so there's no need to remove the wheel or maneuver a pump into a tight space every time. The rubber it's made from is flexible enough to bend toward whatever direction is most convenient, while still holding a stable grip on the valve during inflation itself. Its small size and light weight make it easy to handle, and the included cap keeps the tip clean between inflations.

Applications

  • Passenger cars
  • Vans
  • Buses
  • Motorcycles
  • Wheels with limited valve access, such as deeper-set rims
Installation tip Fit the extension onto the valve gently, without yanking it, so the rubber at the joint doesn't get overstretched. Once fitted, bend it toward whichever direction gives the easiest access for inflating — the rubber's flexibility allows this without risking damage. With longer extensions from this range, like this one, it's worth considering a valve extension holder — the longer the length of rubber, the greater the chance it knocks against wheel components while driving.

Frequently asked questions

How does this extension differ from the 160mm version?

Both share the same construction, material, and installation method — the only difference is length. The EXT180R is 20 mm longer than the EXT160R, which suits even deeper rims or more demanding wheel setups.

How do I pick the right length from this range?

It's worth measuring the distance between the valve and wherever you'd rather inflate the wheel, then choosing a length with a bit of margin — too short an extension won't solve the access problem, while too long one unnecessarily raises the risk of it knocking against wheel components. The range covers lengths from 125 mm up to 270 mm.

Is a holder more necessary on longer extensions than on shorter ones?

Yes, in practice the longer the extension, the more free-hanging rubber there is exposed to vibration and contact with wheel components, so on variants like the 180 mm, securing it with a valve extension holder (single or double) matters even more than on the shortest versions in this range.

What does "flexible" mean for this extension?

It means the rubber the extension is made from can be bent freely to whatever direction inflation requires, while still holding a stable grip on the valve — unlike stiffer, straight tips that don't allow for that kind of adjustment.
