Construction and materials
The patch is built on a layer of reinforced black rubber over high-grade blue tacky rubber. The material is formed on a mylar backing, scored so the protective film comes off quickly right before the patch goes on. Raw material quality matters even more at this size — the patch needs to hold its seal across a wider contact area with the tyre.
Even edges and careful finishing help the 66 mm patch sit flat against the repair site, without folds or shifting during installation.
