The Grzejki® Care menstrual warmers is a discreet source of warmth for those days of your cycle when you especially want to take care of your comfort. It gently warms the lower abdomen or lower back, providing pleasant, soothing heat for up to 12 hours. The thin, soft-to-the-touch pad with a self-adhesive layer allows you to comfortably place the heater directly on the skin or on underwear—whichever feels best for you—at work, at home, or while traveling.
With a classic hot-water bottle, you can’t do much without a kettle, hot water, and constant caution to avoid burns, while an electric version means cables and chargers. GRZEJKI® CARE SELF-ADHESIVE
The Grzejki® Care line consists of self-adhesive heating pads designed for direct contact with the skin. They contain a specially selected adhesive and a soft, pleasant fabric, allowing them to be comfortably placed on a chosen area of the body — for example, the lower back, abdomen, or neck. Depending on preference, Grzejki® Care can be applied directly to the skin or to the inside of clothing.
HOW IT WORKS
Disposable heating pads work based on the iron oxidation reaction well known from chemistry classes—in practice, it’s simply controlled “rusting.” Instead of ending with a mechanic’s bill, it gives off pleasant heat. When used correctly, this process is safe and long-lasting—the pads maintain a stable temperature for many hours. Both the ingredients and the products of the reaction are non-toxic, odorless, and easy to dispose of—after use, they can be thrown away with mixed household waste.
Inside each heater is a mixture of several simple ingredients: iron, activated carbon, salt, water, and vermiculite—a light, porous mineral that helps maintain proper moisture inside the pad and stabilizes the reaction. When the heater is removed from its airtight packaging, oxygen from the air enters the pouch. This is the final missing element of the reaction, allowing the heater to start working. Carefully selected ingredient proportions and fabric parameters ensure that Grzejki® reach a comfortable temperature and maintain it for many hours.
PRECAUTIONS
• Use the heating pads only as intended and according to the instructions on the packaging.
• Heating pads may cause low-temperature burns during prolonged contact with the skin combined with impaired blood circulation, e.g., if the pad is pressed tightly against the body. If you notice symptoms of a low-temperature burn (redness, itching, or burning of the skin) or any other irritation or discomfort, stop using the heater immediately.
• Take special care when using heating pads on children and people with limited mobility and/or reduced sensation.
• Do not use heating pads while sleeping.
• Do not cut, puncture, tear, or crush the heating pads.
• Keep heating pads away from children and animals. For children under 3 years of age, there is a risk of choking on parts of the foil packaging—the heating pads are not toys.
• Dispose of used heating pads with regular mixed household waste.
